Balance is key

Long ago, in a small village, there lived a gardener named Mira. She loved her plants dearly and wanted her garden to be the most beautiful in the land. At first, Mira watered her flowers every morning and evening, thinking more water would make them grow faster. But soon, the roots became soggy, and the flowers drooped.

The next season, Mira decided to give her plants only a little water, afraid of repeating her mistake. But the soil dried out, and the plants wilted under the sun.

One day, Mira visited an old gardener at the edge of the village. The old gardener smiled and said, “Plants need not too much, not too little, but just enough. Watch the sky, feel the earth, and listen to your garden. Nature teaches us that everything grows best when there is balance.”

Mira followed this advice. She learned to give her plants what they needed—no more, no less. Her garden flourished, full of color and life.

So, remember, in caring for a garden, or in living your life, seek balance. Too much or too little of anything can cause harm, but with care and attention, you’ll find the harmony that helps you—and those around you—grow strong and happy.

Truth may hurt, but it heals more

Once, in a peaceful village, there lived a young boy named Charlie. Charlie loved to help his neighbors, but one day, while playing near Mrs. Smith’s garden, he accidentally broke her favorite flower pot. Frightened and ashamed, Charlie hurried home, hoping no one had seen him.

That evening, Charlie noticed Mrs. Smith looking sad as she swept up the broken pieces. He felt a heavy weight in his heart. After thinking for a while, Charlie decided he could not hide the truth any longer. He went to Mrs. Smith and softly said, “I’m sorry. I broke your flower pot by mistake.”

Mrs. Smith listened quietly, then smiled gently. “Thank you for telling me the truth, Charlie. It takes courage to admit a mistake. Let’s fix it together.”

Charlie helped her plant new flowers, and they became good friends. From that day on, Charlie learned that speaking up about the truth—even when it’s hard—brings relief, respect, and the chance to make things right.

Remember, admitting a mistake is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of honesty and strength. When we speak the truth, we grow in self-respect and help others trust us even more.

Slow down to find peace

In a busy town, there lived a girl named Anya. Every morning, she hurried through her day—rushing to school, finishing her chores quickly, and always thinking about what came next. She moved so fast that she barely noticed the world around her.

One afternoon, Anya’s teacher, Mrs. Lee, invited her to take a slow walk through the garden behind the school. At first, Anya fidgeted and wanted to hurry along. But Mrs. Lee gently said, “Let’s walk slowly and see what we can find.”

As they walked, Anya began to notice the soft buzzing of bees, the tiny blue flowers hidden in the grass, and the way the sunlight danced on the leaves. She saw things she had never noticed before, even though they had always been there.

By the end of their walk, Anya felt calm and happy. She realized that when she slowed down, she found peace—and discovered a world of beauty she had been missing.

So remember, sometimes the most wonderful things are waiting for us to notice them. When we slow down, we find peace—and see the world with new eyes.
